Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Tail Track mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Tail Track is a dog training tracking application that allows users to:

  • Log and track training sessions
  • Set and monitor training goals
  • Store notes, photos, and videos of training progress
  • Access trainer features through an optional subscription
  • Share progress with professional dog trainers (with user consent)

User Accounts

Account Creation

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

Subscriptions and Payments

Trainer Subscription

Tail Track offers an optional trainer subscription for $50/month, which includes:

  • Client management tools
  • Access to client training data (with client permission)
  • Advanced analytics and reporting
  • Priority customer support

Payment Processing

All subscriptions are processed through Apple's in-app purchase system. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Apple's terms and conditions for in-app purchases
  • Automatic monthly renewal unless cancelled
  • Payment through your Apple ID account

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policy. We do not provide refunds for partial months.

User Content

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in the App, including training notes, photos, and videos. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to:

  • Store and display your content within the App
  • Sync your content across your devices
  • Share your content with trainers you authorize

Content Restrictions

You agree not to upload content that:

  • Violates any laws or regulations
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Contains harmful, abusive, or offensive material
  • Depicts animal abuse or cruelty
  • Contains viruses or malicious code

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
  • Use automated systems to access the App without permission
  • Impersonate others or provide false information
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Use the App for commercial purposes without authorization

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by Tail Track LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from using the App will be accurate or reliable
  • Any errors in the App will be corrected

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TAIL TRACK LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Tail Track is a tracking tool and does not provide professional dog training advice. The App is not a substitute for professional veterinary care or certified dog training services. Always consult with qualified professionals for specific training or behavioral concerns.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Severability
